JUST IN: Siasia Speaks with Mum as Abductors Demand N70m

The former Coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, whose mother was kidnapped few days earlier has eventually spoken to his mother, Beauty Ogere and two others abducted from his Odoni community, Sagbama Local Government Area Bayelsa State by unknown gunmen.

Earlier according to the junior brother of the footballer, Mr. Dennis Siasia, the kidnappers whisked away their aged mother without her Blood Pressure drugs and mobile phone.

The incident, which occurred during the early hours of Monday shocked the community as two other family members, madam Florence Dounana, 65 years, and her daughter, Selekere Dounana, 17 years, were also kidnapped.

Mr. Siasia told newsmen on telephone that the abductor of their mother took her away without her Blood Pressure drugs and noted that the inability of their mother to remember phone numbers off-hand may have slowed down contacts from her abductors.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Police, Balyesa state command had declared it has launched a manhunt for the perpetrators of the crime.

According to Butswat, the Commissioner of Police in the state and the command’s Tactical Team who promptly visited the scene of the crime, while confirmed the incidence noted that the police in collaboration with other security agencies have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects and rescue the victim.
