SPORT: Rangers Goalkeeper Assure Fans of Good Outing In Maseru

The Ghanaian born reigning goalkeeper of the Nigerian Aiteo cup champions, Rangers International F.C, Nana Bonsu, has assured the club’s teaming followers that he and his team mates were not going to Maseru to lie low and get consumed by their hosts, Bantu F.C as both sides trade tackles for a place in the group stage of Total Confederation cup 2018/2019.
This was disclosed in an exclusive chat with Rangers Int FC media, which was made available to RegentAfrica Times by the Media and Communication Officer of the club, Nobert Okolie, the former Ghana national U-17 and U-20 goal tender said that it was gladdening to his heart to have contributed his part in seeing his club, Rangers get this far in the competition and hopes to make it better when they engage the Econet Premier league of Lesotho champions, Bantu F.C this weekend in Maseru.
“Truly speaking, God is the main reason we are where we are today in the competition coupled with unity, self determination and motivation from supporters, management and government. I have the belief that we can overcome the Bantu challenge and qualify for the group stage of the competition,” stated the experienced goal tender.

Looking back at his three years in the ‘Flying Antelopes’ fold that have seen him emerge league and cup champion, Nana said, “It has never been easy since I came here but I thank God almighty and all my supporters for being there for me. It can only get better as I believe that this season, we shall be crowned champions again both in the local and international competitions.”
The highly religious Nana is still very hopeful of manning the post for his country at the senior level but would not go out his way to achieve that stressing, “I still wish to be considered for a place in the Ghana senior national team but I would not go out of my way to achieve that just as I hope to keep defending the colors of my club, Rangers to the highest level.”
Rangers delegation will be leaving for the Southern African nation of Lesotho most probably by Thursday for the game slated for Sunday, January 13, 2019 with the return leg fixed for Sunday, January 20, 2019 inside the main bowl of Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu.
