TOOAN Calls on Tinubu to Assemble Tricycle in Nigeria to alleviate the plight of Nigerians

Comrade Onanuga Olisa Babatunde has called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to enact a policy for the assembling of tricycles in Nigeria in order to alleviate the plight of Nigerians following the removal of subsidy.
The Chairman of Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria, TROOAN Lagos Chapter, Comrade Babatunde, speaking with journalists in Abuja noted they travelled by road on two Tricycles from Lagos to Abuja for 17 hours (757 kilometres ) to meet with Mr President to place this request. This was to mark President Tinubu’s 38th day in office(July 4th 2023). In order to celebrate his success since his inauguration.
Amongst other requests TOOAN put forward were empowerment for Nigerians to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal. We came in to celebrate the hard working President Tinubu. Three of them were on the trip. Comrade Onanuga Olisa Babatunde, Comrade Akintade Temitope, and Comrade Bolaji Ahmed.
TOOAN noted that Mr President Tinubu is a very kind hearted father, and would use his good office to ensure that tricycle gets assembled or manufactured in Nigeria as one of his legacies.
Comrade Babatunde said they seek to meet with President Tinubu one on one to discuss and rub minds with him on many other issues as it affects members of his association. According to him tricycle current price in the market is N1.7million naira.
He said they were worried by the numerous problems Nigerians are going through since the withdrawal of subsidy and would be happy if Mr President Tiny will receive them. They congratulated President Tibubu for his achievements so far.
Comrade Akintade Temitope noted that the 17 hours trip was smooth. Adding that the kind of love Nigerians have for president Tinubu is unprecedented as they kept hailing them till they arrived Abuja safely unescorted.
